Check each list entry against the source

Check what stayed, changed or vanished.

Find every required source entry in the new list. Check its count, unit, label and any instruction attached to it.

Then work back from the new list to the source. This helps find added items and repeated copies.

Check the requested filter, groups and order too. A food-only list should leave off furniture, but it must keep all the food entries.

Two rice deliveries on different days are two records. Do not erase one just because the food name repeats.

A total can also mislead. Two bags of rice and five cans of beans are seven containers. They are not seven bags of rice. Do not add unlike units without a clear purpose.

AI can help point out mismatches. Check its claims yourself against the source before making a final list.

Four entries can still hide two errors.

Made-up source notes: apples, bread, eggs, milk. A draft reply lists apples, bread, eggs, rice. Both lists have four entries.
