Step 1 of 5
Picking up where you left off
Last time you said what you want. Now add the facts that matter.
A small, clear ask already works well. A few right facts make it even better.
The right facts are the ones that change the answer. Extra facts just get in the way.
Here is a simple test. Ask yourself: "Would the answer change if ChatGPT knew this?" If yes, add it. If no, leave it out.
Personwho it is for, like a cousin
Limita time, length, or number, like under 50 words
Materialwhat you already have, like the soup she brought
Tonehow it should sound, like warm
Keep your facts safe. Leave out private numbers, passwords, and account details.
For health, money, legal, or big choices, ask a real person you trust. ChatGPT is a helper, not an expert.

Buddy says
If a fact does not change the answer, leave it out. A few right facts beat a long list.
