One step at a time

Start with who billed you.

Check the receipt for the plan you want to end. Keep it private. Find who took the payment.

For ChatGPT, a web purchase is managed through ChatGPT. An Apple or Google Play purchase is managed through that store.

Use the right account. Get the cancel steps from the site or store that billed you. A guessed path may be wrong.

Ask for the official route.

Starting example

Where is the cancel button in every app?

Name the provider and ask for its official guidance.

Revised request

An example AI reply

Check Apple subscriptions using the Apple account that made the purchase. Use Apple Support for the current steps.

This sample names the store to use. It does not end a real plan. For a real request, check that the plan will not renew.
