Keep ChatGPT one tap away

Step 1 of 6

Opening your saved place…

One more easy step

Let's keep ChatGPT close.

You found ChatGPT and tried it. That is the hard part, and it is done.

Today you make it easy to come back. No new typing skills needed.

Two small wins do the whole job:

Save the toolput ChatGPT on your home screen or in your bookmarks

Save one linekeep one trusty line you can paste again and again

On a shared computer, sign out when you finish. Do not save a password or leave private notes and downloads behind.

A password manager can help on your own device. Signing out does not erase files you saved.

This one is calm and short. We are just making ChatGPT easy to find next time. That is it.

The first move

Open chatgpt.com in your browser and check the address.

In Safari on iPhone, open More, then Share. In some layouts, Share is already shown. Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.

In Chrome on Android, open the three-dot menu and choose Add to bookmarks.

In Chrome on a computer, use the star by the address bar. Choose a folder you can find again. A bookmark does not always appear on the bar.

Other browsers may differ. Use that browser's help if you cannot find the choice. Reopen your saved link once to check it.

Give the saved link a clear name. A bookmark is enough; you do not need a new app.

See it work

Starting example

book club note

Add the tone, length and blanks to a reusable request.

Revised request

Write a warm book club reminder. Leave blanks for the day and time. Keep it under three sentences.

An example AI reply

Hi! Our book club meets on [day] at [time]. Please bring your book. See you there!

Save the ask as a starter line in your notes. Next time, change the blanks and check the reply. Do not save private details in a shared note.

Your turn, no wrong answers

Think of one task you do often. Write it as a line with a blank you can fill in later. Leave out any real name, number, or private detail.

Your practice box, just for you. Your draft saves in this browser. This box is not AI. Leave private details out.

Stuck? Begin with Please help me, then name the one task you do most, and add Keep it short.

Start with a few words, or look at the example first.

ChatGPT opens in a new tab or window. Keep this lesson open so you can come back.
