Pick a tool to try

Step 1 of 5

Opening your saved place…

Picking up from last time

Your tool is ChatGPT.

For this course, start with ChatGPT. You do not need to compare a long list of tools.

It is a chat tool with a free plan. You ask in plain words, and it writes a reply. The plan has limits, so you may need to wait.

That is it. One tool. You are all set, and there is nothing else to choose today.

Buddy says

You can start with one small text task. Read the reply and check it before you use it.

See it work

See a plan for opening one tool.

Starting example

Which AI should I use? There are so many. I feel lost.

Name one tool, your device and the kind of guidance you want.

Revised request

I am brand new to all of this. Please help me get started with ChatGPT on my phone, step by step.

An example AI reply

Open your browser and type chatgpt.com. Read the free chat or sign-in choices on the screen. If you already have an account, use your usual sign-in method.

This is a sample plan. The real screen may differ. Use the official help if you get stuck.

Your turn, no wrong answers

Write the name of your one tool.

Now write one plain line that names your tool. Begin the line with the words I will try. Keep it short and simple.

Your practice box, just for you. Your draft saves in this browser. This box is not AI. Leave private details out.

There is just one to start with, and it is ChatGPT. Write that line where you can find it again, like a sticky note.

Start with a few words, or look at the example first.

ChatGPT opens in a new tab or window. Keep this lesson open so you can come back.

You did it

You picked one free tool to start.

For this course, start with ChatGPT and a small text task.
The free plan needs no card. Paid plans are optional. You can wait if you hit a free limit.
Leave private details out. Check key facts with a trusted source or qualified person.
ChatGPT is your first tool. You can explore others much later, but you really do not need to.
