Save your before-copy checklist

Step 1 of 6

Opening your saved place…

A helper for you

Keep a short check you can reuse.

A helper card is a short note you keep for next time. This one is a checklist for you to read before you copy.

AI can suggest what to look at. It cannot certify a message as safe or true. You need facts you can check and the right audience.

Buddy says

The checklist reminds you what to look for.

What to keep

Save the check, not private text.

Give the card a name. Keep the steps short. Do not store a private message inside the card.

Copy, fix or wait is your choice. If a key fact is unclear, pause and check the source or person responsible.

Facts match a source I can check.
Needed details and requests are still there.
Private details the reader does not need are left out.
Any blanks to fill in my message draft are clearly marked.
The words fit the person who will get them.

A made-up club note

Use the card yourself.

Facts: The club meets Friday at 5 p.m. Bring a notebook. The note is for club members.

Example message

Write a short club note. The club meets Friday at 5 p.m. Bring a notebook. Add no facts.

An example AI reply

The club meets Friday at 5 p.m. Bring a notebook. All supplies are free.

The first two sentences match. “All supplies are free” has no source here. Choose fix: remove it, then reread the note. An AI “safe to copy” label would not change that.

Keep your card

Write a checklist you can find again.

Write a short “Before I copy” card below. Include facts, missing details, privacy and the recipient. Watch the save status before leaving. Return from My learning and choose Try it to see this draft.

Your practice box, just for you. Your draft saves in this browser. This box is not AI. Leave private details out.

Signed in? The draft saves to that Mayfield account. Signed out? It stays in this browser. For a separate copy, put the card in your own notes.

Start with a few words, or look at the example first.
