Try a saved prompt on a small task

Step 1 of 6

Opening your saved place…

Choose a small test

Start with a prompt you can read.

Have a saved ask? Open it from its saved place. For a Mayfield draft, use My learning, open that lesson and choose Try it.

No saved ask yet? Use this one: “Write two warm sentences to thank someone for [reason for thanks]. Add no facts.”

You can check the sample here. Trying your own ask in ChatGPT is optional.

The full sample is here if you need a starting point.

A made-up thank-you

Keep the test tied to a result.

Starting example

Write two warm sentences to thank someone for [reason for thanks]. Add no facts.

Fill the reason with “lending me a book.” No other task details change.

Revised request

Write two warm sentences to thank someone for lending me a book. Add no facts.

An example AI reply

Thank you for lending me a book. I’m glad you could help!

A result note could say: “This sample has two warm sentences and keeps the book fact. No new promise was added.” That reports this sample, not a test of your own ask.

Try a result note

Record one check you can support.

Use the sample reply above, or optionally try the template in ChatGPT with a small task. Here, write “Sample review” or “My own test.” Note which facts and form you checked. If you have no reply, write “Not tried yet.” Keep private text out.

Your practice box, just for you. Your draft saves in this browser. This box is not AI. Leave private details out.

This box does not send a ChatGPT request. Watch its save status. Keep a separate copy in your own notes if you want one.

Start with a few words, or look at the example first.

ChatGPT opens in a new tab or window. Keep this lesson open so you can come back.
