You have practiced on pretend notes. That was a smart way to start.
Today you read one real note that came into your life.
Here are good, safe notes to pick from:
An event noticea flyer from the library or a club
A short rule notea store return slip with no account number on it
First, take out anything private. Private means facts that point to you. Remove names, phone numbers, and home addresses.
If you are not sure, leave it out. It is safer to share too little than too much.
Also skip the big, serious stuff. For money, health, legal matters, account details, or safety, ask a real person you trust.
