One calm step before you hit send

ChatGPT writes the draft. You are still the boss.

You already know how to ask ChatGPT to write a message. A draft is just a first try at the words. Now we add one small, calm step.

Before you send any message, you read it once with fresh eyes. A draft can sound lovely and still miss the point. It can slip in a date or fact that is wrong. It can sound a little off for the person who will read it.

You do not need to fix anything yet. You are just looking. Here are the four things to look for:

The pointDoes it say the one thing you meant to say?
The factsAre the dates, times, and names right?
The toneDoes it sound right for this reader?
The private bitsAny account numbers or home details to leave out?

Never paste private things into ChatGPT. That means your address, account numbers, or health details. When in doubt, leave it out.

And one safety rule. For money, health, legal, account, or big choices, do not let ChatGPT be your last check. Ask a real person you trust, or call the right office.

You stay in charge. ChatGPT writes, but you decide what is good enough to send.
