Until now, you made up pretend papers to practice on. That was smart.

Today you try a real paper that is sitting near you. This is the fun part.

Pick a low-risk one. That means a paper where a small mistake does no harm.

A club sign-up form works. So does a school notice or a trash pickup notice.

Skip the big stuff. Do not let AI be the final word on money, legal matters, health, benefits, accounts, ID cards, signatures, or deadlines.

For those papers, call the office printed on the paper. Or ask a real person you trust.

The safe move

Hide the private parts first.

A real paper often holds private facts. Your name, your address, an account number.

Private means it is yours alone, and a stranger should not see it.

Before you type a single word, swap those facts out for a plain label.

A label is just a word in brackets that stands in for the real fact.

Pick the one small part you want help with. Then cover the private bits like this:

Type only the few words AI needs to explain that one part. Nothing more.

When in doubt, leave it out. And never paste a photo of the whole paper.
