Fix the wording and keep the rules

A vague line may need more source text.

Give the text to edit and the source it must match. Keep private facts out of both.

Ask to preserve the rules, not just some of the words. Then compare the whole new reply with the source.

If a line says "send it when ready," the missing item and time cannot be fixed by guessing. Find the needed rule or ask the office.

Made-up practice instructions: Please complete all eight sections of the practice form. Make sure each box is filled in clearly. Double-check your spelling. Review it once more before you put it away.

Restore a choice the reply changed.

Made-up excerpt: "Choose one guide format: paper or email. The comment box is optional." Reply: "Choose both paper and email and fill in the comment box." Write a fix request that restores the one-choice rule and the optional box, without adding facts.
