Review the try and choose the next support

Write what happened, not a promise about the future.

Record the task tried, the parts completed and the help used. Praise a specific action without turning it into a claim that everything was done alone.

Keep all needed checks. You can practise one habit next without deleting privacy, source or final-action checks from the plan.

Repeating a rule can help a conversation, but it does not prove the person will apply it later. If they want another try, observe a suitable new case and offer the support they choose.

If you have not observed a skill, do not certify it. A completed Mayfield page does not prove that someone can do a real task alone.

Agree any follow-up with the person and the helper. Do not quietly promise someone else’s time or an always-open support line.

Give credit for what actually happened.

Made-up session record: the learner chose a note, used dictation and caught a wrong day by checking the source. The helper helped them find a button when asked. No message was sent. No next session is agreed. Write two warm sentences without claiming they worked alone.

Write a clear handoff note.

Sample: the learner chose a thank-you note and entered it with dictation. You helped them find the practice box. They spotted an added promise, but have not revised the note or checked a new example. They want a break. Write Tried, Help, Still open and Next.
