Last time you helped someone get a good answer. Now teach them to check it.

ChatGPT writes in a calm, sure voice. That sure voice can feel like proof. It is not proof.

So you teach one small habit. Check the answer before you act on it.

Sit beside the person. Read one ChatGPT answer out loud together. Then say it plain:

What you sayChatGPT sounds sure here. But sure is not the same as right.

One safety rule stays firm. Do not let them act on money, health, legal, account, or safety facts from ChatGPT alone.

For those, a real person or an official source decides. Not ChatGPT.

Private details stay private too. Never type a full name, an address, an account number, or health facts into ChatGPT.

The one part that matters

Find the one part that must be true.

Most of an answer is low risk. One part is not. That is the part that must be true.

Read the answer together, line by line. Then ask them one simple question:

Ask themWhich part could hurt you if it is wrong?

Look fora date, an amount of money, a rule, a dose, or a safety step

Have the person point to that one part. Mark it. A circle or a star works fine.

Say what a dose means here. It is the amount of a medicine you take at one time.

If they mark five parts, that is too many. Ask which one would hurt the most. Keep only that one.

Name the risk

Ask: what if this part is false?

This one question shows the real risk. It turns a vague worry into a clear stake.

A stake is simply what you could lose. Point to the marked part. Then ask the person:

Wait. Let them say the real cost out loud. Write it in one short line.

If the cost is big, the check must be solid. A big cost means a real person checks it, not ChatGPT.

Good question. I can suggest items, but I cannot confirm what you truly need. Look at your own phone and how long the day is. You can also ask someone going with you. They know your real plan.

Notice the safe move. ChatGPT cannot prove its own facts. A real source can. That means a real person, your own bag, a bill, or an official site. Never ChatGPT alone.
