You will prepare the request, make a complete draft, compare it with the source and name its next step. Writing the request alone is not the finished piece.

You can work from the written samples without using ChatGPT. A draft can be complete as text while its final layout or sharing choice still needs review.

Check the piece that readers will actually get.

Give the confirmed facts, audience and chosen form. Make the draft, then compare every required detail and any added claim.

Fix what needs work. Inspect the final copy after adding any contact, image or other detail. Keep the version you reviewed separate from older drafts.

Check image rights and any needed consent for people’s details or photos. A credit line or an AI rewrite does not itself give permission to reuse someone else’s work. When rights are unclear, use material you know you may use or ask the rights holder.

Complete wording still needs a source

Is a blank-free draft always ready?

A polished thank-you note says you loved the event and will attend next month. The sender only supplied thanks for an invitation and has not chosen to attend. Choose an answer to see why, then continue. This is practice, not a grade.

Write the actual piece too

Make a book-swap draft and review it.

Sample confirmed plan: Book Swap, building residents only, Sunday, November 15, 2026, 2 to 4 p.m., shared room, bring up to three books. Write four labeled parts: Request, Draft, Check and Stage. Include the complete draft, not just the request. Share only if you later choose to use a verified real plan.
