Let's get your AI open first.

An AI helper is a free tool that answers what you say or type, in plain words. The one we use is called ChatGPT. Think of it as a patient friend who knows a lot and never gets tired of your questions.

Open it now. On your phone, tap the ChatGPT app. On a computer, type chatgpt.com into your browser and press enter. If it asks you to sign in or pick a plan, that is normal. The free one is all you need, and you will not be charged a cent.

Take a breath. You cannot break anything here. There is no wrong button, and no question is too small.

Find the little mic, then talk.

Today you ask ChatGPT with your voice, instead of typing. This is a real help when your hands are busy, wet, or full. You just talk, and your words become text on the screen.

Look near the box where you usually type your message. You want a tiny picture of a microphone. A microphone is the little device a singer holds, so the picture is a small mic on a stand.

Found it? Good. Here is the whole skill, in two easy taps:

Tap the mic oncewait for a sign that pulses or glows, so you know it is listening

One simple rule keeps you safe. Do not say anything private out loud.

Skip your passwords, account numbers, full address, and any health facts. For money, health, legal, account, or big life choices, ask a real person you trust.

Here are three quick side dishes for rice. One: a simple green salad. Two: steamed peas with a little butter. Three: sliced cucumber with a pinch of salt. Each one takes about five minutes.
