Choose when to speak, dictate or type

Review the try, not just the words you planned.

Record which tool you used, what you asked, what came back and what you checked. If you only read or wrote samples, call that rehearsal.

For a live try, note any repair, what still needs checking and whether you ended the session. You can count a useful partial try without claiming all steps are done.

Choose a next step based on what happened. You might want another spoken task, help finding a control, dictation, text or a break.

Repeating the steps does not prove the next task will go well. Keep the source and privacy checks each time. Typed text is not a safe place to paste secrets.

Give credit without inventing a finished session.

Made-up record: the learner opened Voice and asked for two pens, one notebook and three cards. They heard the right items but have not checked the counts or confirmed that the session ended. They want a break. Write two short lines, keeping the unchecked steps visible.

Record the stage and choose a next input.

Sample: you prepared and checked a written packing-list reply, but have not tried Voice. You want to try a spoken exchange later in a quiet place. Write Tried, Still open, Next and Rule. Keep typing and dictation as choices, without treating them as privacy tools.
