Two different checks

Did it follow your meaning, and is the answer right?

A reply can miss what you asked. It can also follow your request and still give wrong facts. Check both.

After a Voice chat, a transcript is added to the chat. It may not match every spoken word. It is not an exact recording of what you or AI said.

For dictation, you can edit the returned text before sending it. Check that text first, then check the reply when it arrives.

Use the source, not only the transcript

Compare all the facts needed for the task.

Keep a short source note beside you when facts matter. Listen for counts, no or not, names and times. If you spot a mismatch, state the correction.

A transcript can help you review a chat, but it cannot prove exactly what was heard. You can type an exact correction when speech keeps missing it, if the text is suitable to share.

For a real event, check its current official notice. For a number, work it out or use a trusted calculator. Do not ask AI to certify its own answer as your only check.

Keep a disputed fact open until you can confirm it. Fixing a heard word does not settle a separate wrong price or date.

For a health, legal or money decision, use an appropriate qualified source. Speaking or typing the request does not remove the need for that check.

All the fields matter

Check a class reply against the supplied notice.

Made-up notice: Art Class, Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m., room 2, cost $5. A sample reply says Sunday, November 15, 2026, from 11 a.m. to noon, room 3, free. No real event is being verified.

An example AI reply

Art Class date: Saturday, November 14, 2026. Time: 10 to 11 a.m. Room: 2. Cost: $5.

All four changed fields are listed, and the class name stays Art Class. A transcript that showed the intended source would not make the wrong reply correct.

An accurate request is only one check

Does a matching transcript prove the fee is right?

The chat text shows your intended question, but the spoken answer gives a fee that conflicts with the organizer’s notice. Choose an answer to see why, then continue. This is practice, not a grade.

Check every mismatch

Keep the right facts and repair the rest.
