Make, check and keep one picture

Try a whole small task

Use our made-up reading-corner brief. You can check and download the prepared pictures, or try making one in ChatGPT.

A written rehearsal is useful too. Say what you actually did and what remains. You do not have to use a real person’s photo or any private file.

Learn it

Keep track of the actual result

Use the complete brief in the example. If you try ChatGPT, copy the request into its chat and send it yourself. Opening the tab does not send it or make a picture.

Compare the actual result with the full brief. Fix known errors and recheck. Use Save to download the file, then find and open it to confirm it is the one you meant to keep.

For our example, use Save practice image under the edited picture. Keep the original file for reuse. Before sharing, check the final place, any needed permissions and whether people will understand it is made up. You do not need to share it for this lesson.

A checked practice result

Made-up task: a warm reading corner for a practice web card. Mayfield prepared this edited result. The sample reply describes that file; it does not claim a new chat ran for you.

Example message

Make a warm, made-up reading corner. Use a wide 3:2 shape. On one round wooden table, place one closed red book in the centre, one yellow lamp on the left, and one green plant in a blue pot on the right. Put an arched window with green hills behind them. Keep all three table objects in view. No other books or potted plants. No words or people.

An example AI reply

Matches: wide 3:2 shape; one round wooden table; one closed red book in the centre; one yellow lamp on the left; one green plant in a blue pot on the right; arched window and green hills; all three table objects in view; no extra books or potted plants; no words or people.

The edited wide reading corner. The closed book is red and the pot is blue. The yellow lamp stays on the left, with the green plant on the right. The round wooden table, arched window, green hills, chair and framed pictures remain. The extra books, shelves and trailing plant at far left are gone. No words or people are shown. — After: the edited Mayfield practice picture. Both files are 1536 by 1024 pixels, a wide 3:2 shape. Check the whole result.

No listed brief mismatch remains in this prepared result. It has not been placed in your page, printed, saved on your device or shared by this example.
