Check the picture against the brief

Check the whole brief

Compare the objects, counts, colours, positions and shape. Check words and numbers when the task needs them. Check for unwanted extras too.

Use zoom, access tools or help if useful. Read this step to me reads the supplied description; it does not run a new check of the image.

If a real poster needs names, dates or directions, use the approved source for those facts. If you cannot check a needed part, keep it open. A guess or a smooth reply is not verification.

Find every mismatch

Made-up brief: Make a warm, made-up reading corner. Use a wide 3:2 shape. On one round wooden table, place one closed red book in the centre, one yellow lamp on the left, and one green plant in a blue pot on the right. Put an arched window with green hills behind them. Keep all three table objects in view. No other books or potted plants. No words or people. Mayfield prepared the picture below for this check.
