Review your listening progress

Separate tried, checked and still open.

Name the player you used and the controls you tried. If you only wrote through the sample, call it rehearsal.

List the facts you compared, not just the words you heard. A partly checked reply is not fully checked.

For the practice note, keep counts, colour, placement, day, time, place and both rules. Repeated audio alone does not prove them.

For real decisions, use suitable current evidence and qualified help when needed. Neither hearing nor seeing an AI reply makes it true.

You can return to reading whenever it suits you. You do not have to work without support to count your progress.

Keep a partial listening try honest.

Made-up practice note: On Saturday, pack 2 pencils, 1 notebook and a blue folder. Put the folder on top. Meet at the garden gate at 9:20 a.m. Do not bring glue. If it rains, use the hall door. Session record: you used Mayfield’s reading control and heard the example. You checked only 9:20 a.m. against the source. You pressed Stop. No ChatGPT or microphone session was used.

Write your closing record.

Use your actual work, or name a written rehearsal. Write Tried, Still open, Next and Rule. You can record help, a pause or a choice to read. Do not claim playback from a typed request.
